Is the founder of Psalms Theatrics Inc. Paul studied and hold a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Music Performance/Education-Voice and a minor in Theater Dance at/from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. Paul is now a worship leader and minister of music at his church he serves at in St. Louis, MO. Paul has been a professional actor/singer for St. Louis Union Avenue Opera and local musical theater companies in St. Louis. Some of his theatrical credits include, Hairspray (Seaweed), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Judah), The Wiz (Tinman) with the St. Louis Hawthorne Players, Pippin (Leading Player) with Summer Stage Theater, and Shrek the Musical (Donkey) with Hard Road Theater Company to name a few. He has also worked as a voice teacher at STAGES St. Louis.
He has also taught music and theater for the Alton School District and was the director for the middle school theater program where some of his favorite productions directed there were Cats, Into the Woods, West Side Story School Edition, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Wiz to name a few. He currently teaches in the Ladue/Clayton School District and serves as Worship Leader at Temple Church of Christ in St. Louis, MO.
In 2019, Paul was awarded the Community Fine Arts of Education Award by the 100 Black Men of Alton for his dedication to young people in the arts and the quality of their excellent work of performance.
Paul has wrote and directed ALL of the productions for Psalm Theatrics since it's beginning. His works include Carols of Christmas, Journey To the Cross, Tis the Season, The Cutting Edge Creation of Christ, Purpose, I AM God (Creations), and Change To Passage.
Paul knows that his purpose in life is not only to minister to God's people through worship and music, but to share God's word through theatrical production.
